Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a last-ditch winner for Al-Nassr in a chaotic Saudi Pro League showdown to mark the 907th goal of his career.

Al-Nassr were drawing 1-1 at Al Shabab heading into the added time, after their midfielder Ali Alhassan scored a 90th minute own-goal to cancel out Aymeric Laporte's opener.

But, just as hope of taking home three points seemed to be lost, the away side won a penalty. Ronaldo stepped up to convert in the seventh minute of added time to put his side back ahead.

The 39-year-old wheeled away after slotting home, pointing to the ground before unleashing his iconic 'siiiuuuu' celebration.

Taking to Instagram after the drama-filled match, he wrote: "We never give up!!"

Al-Nassr nearly let their lead slip again after Ronaldo's penalty, though.

A VAR review awarded Al Shabab a spot kick in the eleventh minute of added time.

Mohamed Simakan was given a second yellow too amid the chaos, reducing the away side to ten men.

But luckily for Ronaldo and co, the home side scuppered their chance to take a point.

Abderrazak Hamdallah missed his chance in the 13th minute of added time.

Ronaldo became the first male player to hit 900 career goals for club and country last month in Portugal's 2-1 win over Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.

But despite turning 40 in February, the former Real Madrid icon has vowed to reach 1,000 by the time he retires.

"Soon I will do 900 [goals] and after I will beat 1,000. I want to reach 1,000 goals,” he said.

Ronaldo and co are back in action on Tuesday as they take on Iran’s Esteghlal FC in an AFC Champions League clash.

They currently sit second in the Saudi Pro League, four points behind Al Hilal, with Ronaldo gunning for the title at the third attempt after back-to-back runners-up finishes.
