Cristiano Ronaldo spent $100,000 on lavish diamond encrusted gift for Georgina Rodriguez

Cristiano Ronaldo earns more than £3.4million-a-week at Al Nassr – so he has plenty of room to splash out on some lavish gifts for his loved ones.
Ronaldo is one of the highest paid sportspeople in the world, reported to have added $260m [£194m] to his wealth last year alone.
This comes from his huge contract in the Saudi Pro League and his many lucrative endorsement deals off the pitch.
So it should come as no shock that he showers partner with Georgina Rodriguez with presents most of us can only dream of.
One such display of wealth was a diamond encrusted G-Shock watch he purchased for her 30th birthday in January.
The 'iced-out' watch was commissioned by Ronaldo from Jacob & Co and is said to be worth around $100,000 (£75,000).
One of these G-Shock watches, without the diamond accessories, can be picked up for as little as £150.
“Gracias mi amor,” – ‘Thank you my love,’ posted Rodriguez on her Instagram story with a picture of the watch.
The pair began dating in 2016 shortly after they met while she was working at a Gucci store in Madrid.
That was while his glittering time at Real Madrid was coming to an end and moved to Juventus in 2018.
Ronaldo then moved the family once again, heading to Manchester in 2021 but that only lasted 18 months before heading to Saudi Arabia.
Rodriguez recently admitted in her 'I Am Georgina' Netflix series that she was relieved when he left Manchester United.
"When Cris told me he was going to play for Al-Nassr, I was so relieved because I really wanted to leave Manchester," Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez added: "I knew something big was waiting for us and we were highly motivated. I was very happy to come to Saudi Arabia."
On their move to Saudi, she added: "It all happened so quickly.
"At the beginning, I had some ups and downs because we had never lived in a hotel for so long. There were days when I didn’t want anyone to see me, but overall, I was very excited."
They have made a life in Saudi Arabia, with them purchasing a mega-mansion in the capital of Riyadh featuring his own personalised gym and football pitch.
However, they are undecided on where to go once the 39-year-old hangs up his boots permanently.
In a game of 'Mr & Mrs' he and Rodriguez were asked where the other would like to retire, with the former putting Madrid, and the latter Saudi/Portugal.
Ronaldo's guess of Madrid is no surprise given that the Argentine model and businesswoman moved to Spain at the age of one.
