Darwin Nunez next club odds: Move to Saudi favourite but Italy not ruled out for Liverpool striker

Darwin Nunez could be heading away from Liverpool this January transfer window with a £70million bid already reported to be rejected.

The Uruguayan has had some ups and downs for Liverpool since joining in 2022 with a lot of backing from the fans, but the striker could be on his way out with Al Hilal keen.

Nunez could be on the move for upwards of £80million.

The 25-year-old is still quite young for a striker before hitting peak form and that could be a big driving factor in his pricetag.

So much so it’s no surprise there are a few clubs that could be in line for a shock swoop.

Nunez has only netted twice this season and despite netting 11 in his previous season and nine in his first, the focus has always been on his missed chances rather than his actual contributions.

Not just goals either but the role he plays as a strong target man with a lot of pace that can cause plenty of troubles for defences.

He’s certainly got the ability but has been unfortunate many times for the Reds, where a move would certainly work out for both parties in the long run.

Last season he upped his game with assists too, setting up as many as eight in the Premier League alone and with the right coach could also develop further as a striker.

AC Milan have been linked with plenty of Premier League players as they look to bolster their squad in the January transfer window.

They’ve also been linked with Marcus Rashford, amongst a plethora of names around Europe, but a move for Nunez is close according to the odds as Saudi clubs will have to meet the asking price.
