Arsenal have received a huge boost as Bukayo Saka has returned to training after recovering from his injury.

The Englishman, in many people’s eyes, is the Gunners’ best player. He has been magnificent for them over the years, and he started this season in brilliant fashion too.

Saka scored nine goals and provided 13 assists for Arsenal in his first 24 games in all competitions this season. He was on track to have his best-ever campaign, but a serious hamstring injury sidelined him.

After three months out, Saka posted a picture of himself on the training ground on Instagram, and Arsenal fans are delighted.

Arsenal have really missed Saka over the last three months.

Ethan Nwaneri has done a good job whenever he has played on the right flank, but the Gunners have struggled without their number seven’s ability in the final third.

Saka’s injury is one of the biggest reasons why Arsenal are 12 points behind Liverpool in the title race, and the dream of winning the Premier League is now all but over.

But, Arsenal still have the Champions League to fight for, and Saka’s return now gives them a timely boost ahead of the business end of the season.

On Instagram on Thursday, Saka posted a picture from the Sobha Realty Training Centre with the caption: “Hello again!”

Arsenal fans were over the moon to see their Starboy confirm that he is back in training, and some of his teammates are delighted too.

David Raya replied: “Stop wasting my time,” along with an hourglass emoji, referring to the three months Arsenal have been without Saka.

Declan Rice commented: “We ready!”

What Saka needs to do to break Thierry Henry’s record this season

Thierry Henry is arguably the greatest player ever to play in the Premier League.

The legendary Frenchman caused defenders all sorts of problems back in the day, and his goalscoring record for the Gunners is just incredible.

However, what made Henry even more special was his ability to create for his teammates, and he holds the record for most assists in a Premier League season, along with Kevin De Bruyne – 20.

Saka was on track to smash Henry’s record, having provided 10 assists in his first 16 games. But, his injury has severely hurt his chances.

For the Arsenal number seven to break it now, he will have to provide 11 assists in the Gunners’ last nine Premier League games of the season.

That will not be easy, but if he manages to do it, it would be a sensational achievement.
