Liverpool will look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table when they head to West Ham United on Sunday.

The Reds are currently sit points clear at the Premier League summit after returning to winning ways in their last two games.

Liverpool face a West Ham side that has enjoyed an uptick in form in recent weeks, having won two and drawn two of their last four games.

Liverpool team news v West Ham

Liverpool will be without midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai for the trip to West Ham due to suspension after accumulating five yellow cards.

Reds defenders Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate remain sidelined, while Diogo Jota’s fitness continues to be managed.

The Portugal international has made four successive substitute appearances for Liverpool since recovering from a rib issue.

Slot is unlikely to make too many changes to the Liverpool starting XI as he looks to maintain momentum and keep on getting results to stay top.

The Reds back line could remain unchanged, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson keeping their places.

Likewise, goalkeeper Alisson Becker is expected to remain in between the sticks for Liverpool.

Szoboszlai’s suspension would normally be quite a blow, but this would not change the midfield setup from the Leicester game.

Curtis Jones, who Owen Hargreaves tipped to score a “tonne of goals”, started in midweek and he’s expected to keep his place in the XI.

The Liverpool academy graduate could feature alongside Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister in the midfield.

The one change in the Liverpool starting line-up could come in attack, with Darwin Nunez potentially making way for Luis Diaz.

The £64million man, worked hard against Leicester but Diaz stayed on the bench and will therefore be a lot fresher for the Hammers clash.

Although Jota has been working his way back to fitness, we predict Slot will hold off on starting him just yet, but there could well be another cameo from the bench.
