Speaking to Goal on TikTok, Jota was asked to create an 'ultimate' footballer made up of a number of attributes, and he picked one of his former Liverpool teammates for his skill

Indeed, Jota named Thiago Alcantara as the most skilful player in the world.

The Spaniard is one of the most naturally gifted and skilful players on the planet. But, unfortunately, we've not been able to see his talent all that much as of late.

Indeed, injuries have taken their toll on Thiago over the past 18 months, ultimately leading to his Anfield release this summer, but, on his day, Thiago is still one of the best around.

Thiago Alcantara is now a free agent after leaving Liverpool, and it has to be said that he's the best free agent on the market.

The Spaniard has bags of natural ability, and any team that picks him up will be getting a player who, on his day, his undoubtedly a world-class talent.

Unfortunately, keeping Thiago fit is more than half the battle, and in recent years, the midfielder has hardly been reliable on that front.

Liverpool got rid of Thiago for a reason, but if he can somehow manage to stay fit, he could be the signing of the summer for whichever club brings him in on a free transfer in this window.
