Enzo Maresca sends message to Chelsea fans after meltdown

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has sent a message to the supporters following a surprising four-match run without a win.
The Blues drew 1-1 against Palace on Saturday (4 January), despite leading the majority of the game through Cole Palmer's first-half goal.
The daw continues Chelsea's recent poor run of form and extended their winless streak to four games in the Premier League.
Defeats against Fulham and Ipswich Town and a draw at Goodison Park have helped to dispel conversations surrounding the club being in the title race as Maresca's side have fallen off the pace.
The inquest from fans has focused on the team not being ready to challenge for the Premier League title, with many criticising the calibre and performances of the players.
Chelsea currently sits fourth in the table with league leaders Liverpool nine points ahead of them with two games in hand.
Maresca was keen to send a message to the Blues faithful as he wrote on Instagram, "Thanks to our supporters to be close to the team."
Chelsea will look to change their recent fortunes
The Blues were left reeling after the game at Selhurst Park as fans felt they were denied a clear penalty after Pedro Neto appeared to be fouled inside the penalty area.
That sentiment was echoed by former Premier League official Mike Dean, but on-field referee Tim Robinson didn't award one.
That allowed Palace the chance to get back into the game, leaving Chelsea now searching to try and get back to winning ways.
Chelsea are back in action on Saturday (11 January) against Morecambe in the FA Cup third round.
That is followed by a return to Premier League football on Tuesday (14 January) at home against Bournemouth.
In other news, Chelsea fans all say the same thing about Jadon Sancho as new details emerge.
