Carlos Soler's success on loan at West Ham United has led to a belief that he'll be enjoying a longer stay at the club.

That's according to AS, who report that Soler 'has become a giant' on loan at West Ham this season and could be moving permanently from Paris Saint Germain as a result.

The newspaper explains that Soler has just had his best moment at West Ham since arriving in the summer. He managed his first goal for the club in the win over Fulham, a big boost since a difficult time at PSG.

AS say it was a goal that showed his confidence is increasing. He celebrated 'with rage' afterwards, sliding 'across the green' of the London Stadium.

While it appears Graham Potter is not yet ready to make him a starter, it does seem like he may be on the up. That's a positive given his time in Paris did not prove to be fruitful, a shadow he's trying to get rid of at 28-years-old.

The hope is that he can do it at West Ham between now and the end of the season. The arrival of Potter certainly heralds happier times at the club between now and the end of the season.

That would open a window for his loan, which ends this summer, to become a permanent signing. West Ham have an option to do that for €20m.
