Aston Villa, Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen are eyeing moves for Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic following his impressive form on loan at Strasbourg, sources have told Football Insider.
Petrovic, 25, has been outstanding for Strasbourg since joining on loan last summer and played a key role in the side's surprise bid for European qualification in Ligue 1.
The Serbia international has kept a stunning seven clean sheets in his last 10 games to enhance his reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe's top five leagues.
Petrovic's long-term future at Chelsea is uncertain with the Blues well-stocked in the goalkeeping department at Stamford Bridge.
Aston Villa could rival Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen for Petrovic
The 25-year-old is set to return to Chelsea at the end of the season to be included in the squad for this summer's FIFA Club World Cup.
He signed a contract running until 2030 at Stamford Bridge in 2023 after leaving Major League Soccer side New England Revolution.
Petrovic played 31 times across all competitions in his first season at Chelsea, keeping seven clean sheets and conceding 44 goals.

Filip Jorgensen subsequently arrived at the London giants last summer (2024) and has been the understudy for Robert Sanchez this term.
Meanwhile, Emiliano Martinez was named the world’s best goalkeeper once again by Fifa for 2024 but has made several mistakes for Aston Villa this term.
Robin Olsen is the backup for the World Cup-winning shot-stopper but the 35-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season.
Liverpool set sights on Watkins deal
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on 18 April that Liverpool are closely monitoring Ollie Watkins' situation at Aston Villa as they plot an alternative striker signing to Alexander Isak.
It is believed the door could open for the long-serving Villa striker to depart should they sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent basis from Man United this summer.
Arsenal saw a bid rejected for Watkins in January and Liverpool could now rival Mikel Arteta's side for the striker in the off-season.
