TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Chelsea will not stand in Christopher Nkunku’s way if he decides to leave this month with interest emerging from Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Nkunku’s spell in West London has not quite gone to plan with injuries hampering his ability to break into the team at Stamford Bridge.

TBR Football first reported back in November that Nkunku is a player PSG have shown an interest in and now, two European giants have joined them in the race.

Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid contenders to sign Christopher Nkunku

Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich have emerged as contenders to sign Christopher Nkunku this month, sources have told TBR Football's chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.

Meanwhile, PSG remain keen on bringing the forward back to the French capital and are continuing to closely monitor the situation.

The 27-year-old is a player that Chelsea do not want to lose in January, however, they know they can’t keep a player who is unhappy and would accept good money for him.

Nkunku is not desperate to leave West London this month, although he is obviously frustrated by his situation under Enzo Maresca and will now be aware of top clubs chasing him.

The forward has made just three starts in the Premier League this season and is only getting substantial minutes in the Europa Conference League.

Who else could leave Chelsea this month?

TBR Football can reveal that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has attracted interest from West Ham and his former club Leicester City. But like with Nkunku, Chelsea are open to keeping him.

West Ham are also keen on Carney Chukwuemeka with Chelsea setting a £40 million asking price for the midfielder, TBR Football has reported. Aston Villa have also expressed an interest.

TBR Football has also learned that Ben Chilwell will be allowed to leave on loan this month and a potential move to Manchester United cannot be ruled out. He is another Chelsea player being monitored by West Ham.

Harvey Vale, Tyrique George and Marc Guiu could all head out on loan, although the Blues will only allow Guiu to leave if another forward arrives. Meanwhile, Cesare Casadei is in talks over a return to Italy with Torino hoping to sign him.
