Exclusive: Brighton rising star lined up to join Championship club

Brighton ace Caylan Vickers is being tracked by several Championship sides following his impressive form on loan at Mansfield Town, sources have told Football Insider.
Vickers has caught the eye at Mansfield after joining on loan until the end of the season on deadline day in the mid-season window.
The 20-year-old has scored one goal and provided one assist in 10 League One appearances since making the move.
His form has alerted several Championship clubs who are considering moves for Vickers for next season either on loan or on permanent.
Brighton talent watched by Championship clubs
Vickers impressed for Brighton’s Under-21 side before heading to Mansfield, scoring six goals and assisting twice in 15 appearances in the first half of this season.
The Windsor-born ace started his career at Reading before leaving the cash-strapped side for Brighton in February 2024.

He is under contract at the Amex Stadium until June 2027.
Vickers can play as an attacking midfielder, on the left wing and as a centre-forward.

Brighton star wanted by European giants
Football Insider revealed last week (14 March) that Brighton will demand offers of over £20million for in-demand midfielder Yasin Ayari.
Ayari, 21, is attracting interest from elite European duo Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan.
Brighton will bank a huge profit on the Sweden international if he is to leave after paying just £3.5million to land him in 2023.
