TBR Football understand Crystal Palace have now decided to let Jeffrey Schlupp leave – with Millwall and Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs interested.

The Ghana international sees his contract at Selhurst Park expire this summer – and the Eagles will not be offering the Crystal Palace No.15 a new deal.

Dougie Freedman is working on incomings for Oliver Glasner this month – with Crystal Palace close to signing Romain Esse in a £14.5m deal from Millwall – as the Eagles aim to rise away from 15th in the Premier League.

Sources add that Millwall’s admiration for the versatile midfielder is not expected to have any impact on the Esse deal – which is a separate transfer.

Schlupp – who joined Crystal Palace in a £12m move from Leicester City back in January 2017 – has made 246 appearances for the Eagles, scoring 19 goals and providing 15 assists.

Odsonne Edouard also wanted by MLS clubs

Another player with an uncertain future at Crystal Palace along with Schlupp – who Celtic considered signing – is Odsonne Edouard.

The Frenchman was loaned to Leicester City back in August, but has played just 26 minutes of Premier League football so far this season.

TBR Football understand Atlanta United are keen to sign Edouard – but also have an interest in Middlesbrough No.9 Emmanuel Latte Lath.
