TBR Football can exclusively reveal how much Borussia Dortmund are demanding in order to sell Donyell Malen to Aston Villa this month.
Dortmund are open to letting Malen leave the club this month and the forward has been offered to Aston Villa among other Premier League clubs.
Along with Unai Emery's side, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and West Ham United were among the prominent sides also offered the chance to sign Malen.
Malen's representatives have been informing English sides about the 25-year-old's situation, who has started just six games in the Bundesliga under Nuri Sahin this season.
The Netherlands international's current deal expires in 2026, and a new contract has not yet been discussed.
Aston Villa willing to offload Jaden Philogene as Donyell Malen interest ramps up
TBR Football's chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Dortmund want £25m in order to sanction a deal this month.
Villa have now turned to Malen as their top target given that Villarreal winger Alex Baena is not available in January.

Emery's side are aware that others are interested in signing Malen this month and are therefore pressing to conclude a deal.
As mentioned, Dortmund won't stand in Malen's way, and Villa are keen to bring in more options up top.
Villa had re-signed Jaden Philogene in the summer but Emery's side are now open to loan offers for the 22-year-old.
Philogene has failed to get up to speed as quickly as the club may have hoped in order to replace Moussa Diaby who left the club in the same window.
Therefore, Emery wants more options, explaining the club's pursuit of Malen.
Thierry Henry explains why Donyell Malen never made it at Arsenal
Of course, Malen has already been at an English club before, spending two years with Emery's old side Arsenal as a youngster.
The Dutch international never made a senior appearance for Arsenal, though, a situation Thierry Henry somewhat explained when speaking for CBS Sports earlier this year.
Henry said: "It was a bit difficult for him to handle the pressure at Ajax, so he came to Arsenal.
"I had him for a year because I was passing my badges there. it didn't work at Arsenal for him. I thought he had some quality but at Arsenal you have a lot of quality there.
"Then he went to Eindhoven and played for Young PSV, that is the second team. He ended up doing brilliantly, which I'm very happy because at the very beginning, people were doubting him.
"He trusted himself and his quality and with his family, he made it happen. He won the league with Eindhoven.
"After that, he had to come back from a bad knee injury. Now he plays for Holland. He scored tonight. It must have been emotional to play against Eindhoven, a team that he won the league with almost six years ago, so I am very happy for him."
