Huddersfield Town are considering a move for Cardiff City striker Kion Etete to bolster their attacking options in January, sources have told Football Insider.
Etete, 23, has yet to feature for Cardiff this season due to hamstring injury sustained in the summer, but the 6ft 4in forward is working his way back to fitness.
Huddersfield are keen to bolster their squad in January as they look to mount a bid for promotion back to the Championship.
The Terriers are currently sitting in fourth spot in League One, five points off the automatic promotion spots.
Etete, who joined Cardiff from Tottenham in the summer of 2022, is entering the final six months of his contract at the Cardiff City Stadium.
He has made 62 appearances for the Bluebirds, scoring nine goals and notching one assist.
The Derby-born forward hit six goals last term as he started 16 of 32 total appearances across all competitions for the Welsh side.
Etete experienced loans with Northampton and Cheltenham prior to leaving Tottenham just over two years ago.
