Andy Robertson will hold crunch talks over his Liverpool future in the off-season, sources have told Football Insider.
The long-serving 31-year-old left-back will have just 12 months to run on his Reds contract in June and has faced criticism for his performances this term.
Liverpool are putting plans in place for the upcoming summer transfer window and are ready to move for a new left-back.
Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez, 21, is a concrete target, while Fulham captain Antonee Robinson is on the list – but Liverpool chiefs have question marks over his age.
Liverpool keen to keep Robertson despite replacement plan
Robertson may have to adjust to a rotation role but the Reds are keen for him to remain at Anfield amid uncertainty elsewhere in the squad.
Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold are three key leaders at Liverpool but the trio are out of contract in just over three months.

Robertson has been on the books at Anfield since joining from Hull City in July 2017 for a fee of around £10million.
He has rotated with Kostas Tsimikas this term but remains the first-choice option at left-back after Arne Slot’s arrival on Merseyside.
The Scotland international has made 39 appearances across all competitions this term
Liverpool in pole position to land England star
Football Insider revealed on Monday (17 March) that Liverpool are in pole position to sign Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have yet to reach an agreement with Ibrahima Konate over a new contract.
Guehi is an established part of the England squad and has made 34 appearances across all competitions for Crystal Palace this term.
He could form a key part of a defensive rebuild at Liverpool if they get a deal over the line this summer.
