Premier League clubs are tracking teenage Plymouth Argyle sensation Tegan Finn, sources have told Football Insider.

The talented 16-year-old has broken into the Plymouth first-team this season and has made three appearances in the Championship this season.

Finn made his first-team debut as a substitute in the 3-0 Championship defeat by Leeds United at Elland Road in November before going on to make his full debut against Coventry City in December.

The exciting wide attacking player also made an appearance off the bench at Oxford at the end of December and he has been a regular in the matchday squad this season.

Finn’s emergence has alerted a number of Premier League’s top clubs to his potential with the teenager still a first-year apprentice at Home Park.

That deal means his current deal with Plymouth is due to run until the end of next season.

Following the departure of Wayne Rooney on New Year’s Eve, the Pilgrims’ first-team are now under the management of Miron Muslic.

The 42-year-old’s first game in charge was a 1-1 draw with Oxford United in the Championship on Tuesday night (14 January).

Finn was not involved in the matchday squad for that draw, which has left Argyle still bottom of the Championship table, three points from safety.

The Pilgrims have already signed Michael Baidoo and Tymoteusz Puchacz this month, and Football Insider understands they are also interested in Wycombe Wanderers defender Joe Low.

In other news, Wayne Rooney’s commitment to management has been questioned after his sacking by Plymouth Argyle.
