Swansea have made a new bid for Wycombe defender Joe Low after seeing their first offer rejected, sources have told Football Insider.

Low is a target for a number of clubs in this month's transfer window with Swansea, Plymouth and Preston all keen to lure him to the Championship.

Swansea are keen to strengthen their centre-back options and have made the 22-year-old a top target.

Wycombe are battling to keep hold of the defensive star, who has been instrumental in their surprise promotion push this season.

Low, who has two senior Wales caps, joined the Chairboys in July 2023 after leaving Bristol City.

He has played every minute of every League One and League Cup match so far in the 2024-25 campaign.

The centre-back has notched four goals in 28 appearances across all competitions for Wycombe this term.

Swansea are now keen to bring the Cardiff-born star back to Wales to bolster their squad for the second half of the season.

Low came through the ranks at Bristol City but made only two senior appearances for the Robins before being let go in 2023.

He gained experience with loans at Walsall and Eastleigh before making the move to Wycombe.
