TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Marcus Rashford is not set to accept a drop in wages as he explored a move away from Manchester United this January.
Rashford suggested his desire to leave Manchester United last month and since then, his future has become one of the hottest topics across world football.
Ruben Amorim is finding life as Manchester United boss a challenge as they sit in 12th place in the Premier League and on top of that, he has to deal with his star player’s uncertain future.

TBR Football confirmed more than a week ago that Barcelona is Rashford’s dream move.
But it seems like Marcus Rashford has his priorities decided before he potentially departs United.
Marcus Rashford will not take wage cut as he eyes Man United exit
TBR Football’s chief correspondentGraeme Bailey has been informed that while Rashford is unwilling to take a wage cut if he departs the Premier League this month, Manchester United’s stance is that they would like a majority of the superstar forward’s earnings to be covered before they sanction a loan deal.
Rashford, labelled as an “unbelievable talent” is United’s highest-earner — banking an eye-watering £400,000-a-week — taking into account his wages, bonuses and image rights. As previously revealed by TBR Football, Rashford has always dreamt of playing in Spain and eyes a move to Barcelona — while in France, a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain appeals to him.
However, Barcelona will only pay a portion of Rashford’s wages if they sign him on loan and furthermore, the 27-year-old’s camp have been told that he will have to fight for a place in their starting XI — with Hansi Flick’s front three of Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal all being in scintillating form.
Furthermore, Barcelona have informed Rashford’s camp that they will have to make a sale before deadline day before they sign him on loan — with there being a possibility that either Andreas Christensen or Ansu Fati could leave in the winter window. Rashford told his teammates he fancies Barcelona as his next destination.
As for PSG, they have shown no interest in signing the United winger as sporting director Luis Campos is keen on taking the club in a different direction from their usual model of signing big names.

Marcus Rashford might have to accept West Ham deadline day move
Rashford might have to just join West Ham as not many clubs in Europe are willing to pay his exorbitant wages to sign the FA Cup winner either or loan or permanently.
Journalist Ben Jones claimed: “So I'm not entirely sure why they [Barcelona] would consider it, especially in their financial situation. But they have, so there is a small possibility that they manage to figure it out. And if not, does he go West Ham?
"Because that's the sort of offer that honestly might be on the line for Rashford to accept on, say, Deadline Day or the day before. Like we might get to that point. So despite all the talk of Barcelona, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, whatever else, West Ham might end up being like as good as it gets for Marcus Rashford if he is to leave Man United.”
“And even in that case, Man United would have to consider West Ham, obviously not going to go near as £350k-a-week wages. So tops 100 grand West Ham would give you. I'm not even sure they would be able to do that.”
Rashford, who Kyle Walker lauded has 138 goals and 63 assists in 426 appearances over the course of his time at Manchester United but unless he compromises on his wage demands, a move for the in-demand speedster in January seems unlikely.
