Exclusive: The important clause Man City have placed into Pep Guardiola's new contract

TBR Football sources have confirmed that Pep Guardiola has told Manchester City that he is staying at the Etihad for at least one more season.

Guardiola’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the season and City have been locked in talks to try and agree fresh terms.

Confidence has been growing around City that Guardiola was going to stay and TBR Football revealed earlier this month that City hoped agreement would be reached during the current international break.

Now sources have indeed confirmed to TBR Football that an agreement is in place and Guardiola has committed to a 12-month deal, with the option to extend in 2027 and we are told it is considered a rolling-contract by the club as they hope he will stay even longer.
