Exclusive: Tottenham offered chance to sign £42m midfielder who is 'frustrated' at Inter Milan

TBR Football exclusively understands that Tottenham Hotspur have been presented with the opportunity to sign Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi this month.
Ange Postecoglou's side have already secured their first January signing, with Antonin Kinsky choosing to join Tottenham, a goalkeeper who arrives to compete with Guglielmo Vicario.
Tottenham are keen to improve the squad depth available to Postecoglou, who they will continue to back despite the club's frustrating league position.
Spurs have 24 points from 20 games, a record no one in north London will be satisfied with.
Davide Frattesi offered to Tottenham but Italy international has other plans
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Tottenham are looking to improve their midfield this month, and as a result, 25-year-old Italy international Frattesi has been offered to the club.
Frattesi officially joined Inter Milan in the summer, having previously been on loan from Sassuolo.

Now, the 25-cap midfielder is frustrated with life at the club, meaning his representatives are offering his services to other sides, letting them know about his availability.
Tottenham are one of those who have been contacted, but it is believed that £42m-rated Frattesi is looking to stay in the Serie A.
Spurs have two current Italy internationals on their books, Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie, but Frattesi has little interest in making that a trio.
Claudio Ranieri is keen to bring Frattesi to Roma in the near future, a move that might prove to be a better fit for the midfielder.
Ange Postecoglou admits January additions won’t be easy
Speaking before Spurs' recent defeat to Newcastle United, Postecoglou admitted that January additions will be tricky, even if the club are working hard.
Tottenham are competing for a different midfielder right now, but it remains to be seen how much can be achieved this month.
Postecoglou said: "It's not a matter of pushing but I think the club are working hard to try and sort of get some help for the playing group and it's no secret, we need to bolster our numbers up a little bit. January is not an easy month.
"We understand it's not an easy time to bring people in particularly quickly. At the same time we still want to make sure we do what we think is the best thing for us rather than sort of just, you know, panic and bring people in who aren't going to be a suitable fit.
"They are not having new year parties, they are out there working trying to improve our situation and they'll continue to do so."
