Exclusive: When Everton plan to announce David Moyes as new manager with deal agreed

TBR Football can exclusively confirm that David Moyes has agreed a deal to become Everton’s new manager.
TBR Football revealed that David Moyes was a contender to manage Everton alongside former AC Milan boss Paulo Fonseca, with confirmation emerging about Dyche’s departure on Thursday.
Everton means the world to Moyes, who famously managed them from 2002 until 2013.

Sources have notified TBR Football that the Scotsman is set to return to Goodison Park on an initial deal that will last until the remainder of the season.
David Moyes’ return to Everton is set to be confirmed on Friday, a day after their clash against Peterborough in the third round of the FA Cup.

Speaking to BBC Sport in December, Moyes made his feelings clear about not being open to a job where he is required to fight relegation.

The 61-year-old stressed: “But I would only want it [a new managerial role] to be a good part. I wouldn’t want to be coming in and doing something which is very difficult.”
“I don’t want to be at the bottom of the league and fighting relegation which I have had a few times, so we will see how things go.”
However, with Everton languishing in 19th place, David Moyes has done a U-turn over his stance, agreeing to take on the tough task emphasises how deeply he loves the club.
