There's a claim in the Turkish media that Aston Villa defender Diego Carlos will soon be announced as a Fenerbahce player.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Super Lig giants throughout this transfer window as Jose Mourinho looks to bring in a central defender.
Yesterday it was claimed the Aston Villa player has agreed personal terms with the Yellow Canaries and that the Premier League side have also accepted an offer.
Fotomac today report on the latest situation with regards Carlos' proposed transfer to Fenerbahce. It's claimed his move to the Istanbul side is expected to be completed 'within a week' as the defender looks for a team which can give him more playing time.
Carlos wasn't involved in yesterday's 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
Only yesterday we covered reports from the Turkish press that Carlos has agreed a €4m annual salary with Fenerbahce and that they are expected to pay in the region of €13m for him.
Carlos has featured in just ten Premier League games this season and hasn't been involved in the past three. The 31-year-old is contracted to Aston Villa until June 2026.
