There's a claim in the Paraguayan media that Brighton & Hove Albion forward Julio Enciso is on the verge of signing for Ipswich Town.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League side during this window as they look to add to their squad before next month's deadline.
Christian Pérez reports on the latest developments regarding Ipswich Town's pursuit for Enciso and he says the Brighton player is travelling ahead of his proposed move to Ipswich.
It's expected the youngster will soon be officially presented as Ipswich Town's latest signing as he completes his loan move. The English club have already signed Jaden Philogene after the forward was transferred from Aston Villa earlier this month.
The Paraguayan journalist says it's hoped Enciso will be available for Ipswich Town's clash with Liverpool this weekend. Pérez also reports Brighton would not entertain a loan move to Borussia Dortmund or any other overseas club.
Enciso has made 16 appearances for the Seagulls this season, scoring one goal. He's contracted to Brighton until June 2026.
