From Netherlands: Player agrees personal terms to join Aston Villa – Transfer seems 'matter of time'
For the past couple of weeks or so, there’s been multiple claims in the German media linking Aston Villa with a swoop for Borussia Dortmund’s Donyell Malen.
There’s even been claims of Unai Emery’s side making an offer for the attacker. After that, the media local to the Bundesliga club made it sound like BVB were moving the goalposts for the price of a January deal.
This isn’t entirely out of character for Borussia Dortmund when Premier League clubs come knocking for their players.
Throughoutit all, Malen himself has been presented as being very keen on a move to England’s top flight.
Voetbal International, in the Netherlands, now report Malen has agreed personal terms to join Aston Villa in the January window.
The 25-year-old has agreed the terms to a multi-year contract at the club, and it’s now a case of them agreeing an acceptable fee with the German side.
Voetbal International sound relatively confident on that and say it seems like it’s only a matter of time before the club agreement is reached.
