Fulham star Raúl Jiménez has admitted he had offers to leave the club this summer but decided against a departure from Europe.

Record cover comments from the Fulham striker today made on the Faitelson Sin Censura programme with David Faitelson.

The 33-year-old is currently in one of the best moments of his career after a flying start to the season that's seen him bag five goals and one assist in 11 games so far.

He appears to be finding his form once again after a difficult few years following the fractured skull he suffered while playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

All talk of a potential exit have been dismissed for the time being, despite reports regularly linking the Fulham man with a return to Mexico.

Instead, he is flying in the Premier League once again and seems unlikely to leave Fulham any time soon, with the club holding an option to extend his current deal by another year with his current contract expiring next summer.

Reports had linked him with a move away this summer and he confirms there were big offers on the table that he ultimately turned down.

“They have arrived since I was at Benfica, I was 25, 26 years old and an offer came from China, I was going to win a lot of money and from that moment there was nothing," he said.

"This last summer there were a number of important offers in which I was going to win four or five times more than what I earn here and well no, it is not my goal.

"Maybe in two or three years it may be, but I am at the highest level, and I want to prolong it as long as possible."
