Neither Fulham nor Andreas Pereira are yet to respond to the offer from Palmeiras, but the player des feel 'valued' by the Brazilian club.
That's according to journalist André Hernan, who reports that the initial offer from Palmeiras does not include a player swap for the time being.
Pereira has become a hot topic in Brazil over the last 48 hours, with Palmeiras seemingly making their move to get him from Fulham in January.
There have been numerous, changing reports since the initial ones emerged, with the latest today stating that Palmeiras could offer player to Fulham to help facilitate what would be an expensive deal for them.
Hernan disputes that, reporting that their first offer for the Fulham midfielder does not involve a player trade. It would be a direct purchase instead.
Andreas Pereira and Fulham have not yet responded to the offer but the player 'gave the green light' to the negotiation yesterday.
He has told his entourage that he will analyse anything that come to him in the January transfer window. Palmeiras are aware of that and have been treating the 28-year-old with 'great affection' in early negotiations.
Pereira feels valued by the club and that is, presumably encouraging the Brazilian club to continue to try and get a deal done with Fulham.
