Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus took to social media to share an injury update after tearing his ACL in their FA Cup defeat to Man United earlier in January.
The 27-year-old is set to miss the rest of the season after being stretchered off in the 40th minute of the defeat to Ruben Amorim’s struggling Man United side.
Jesus has since undergone surgery on his left knee, having just started to rediscover his form for Mikel Arteta’s title-chasing Arsenal.
The forward had six goal contributions in his seven last games, five of which came in Arsenal’s two consecutive games against Crystal Palace.

The Brazil international has struggled before his most recent run of good form, starting just 13 of his 27 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals, and providing two goals in his 1204 minutes of play.
Jesus had scored just once this season before his hattrick in Arsenal’s 3-2 League Cup win over Palace in December.
He has since taken to Instagram to share an update on his progress, saying: “There will always be answers to everything, which we will only know later on. I believe and trust in God.”
Arsenal will host Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday (January 22) as they seek to take one step closer to qualification to the knock-out rounds.
Arteta’s attention will then return to the Premier League on Saturday (January 25) with a trip to relegation-threatened Wolves.
