Gabriel Magalhaes has remained active on social media despite growing uncertainty about his future at Arsenal.

Gabriel has been a rock at the back for both club and country, recently earning a call-up to the national team.

His partnership with William Saliba has been instrumental in Arsenal‘s defensive strength, with the Gunners currently boasting the least goals conceded in the Premier League, having shipped just 24 goals so far.

However, the Brazilian’s performances have caught the eye as reports have emerged suggesting that Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr are planning an ambitious move for Gabriel in the summer.

While such a transfer would undoubtedly be a controversial one, especially given his importance to Arsenal, it seems that the centre-back’s attention remains focused on his football, despite the swirling speculation surrounding his future.

Arsenal have previously rejected Saudi interest in Gabriel Magalhaes

The 27-year-old recently shared a post on Instagram while away on international duty with Brazil, stating: "Always a dream."

His post quickly garnered attention, with his defensive partner Saliba liking it, along with fellow Brazil internationals Savinho and Lucas Paqueta.

Arsenal had blocked interest from Saudi Arabia fro Gabriel back in 2023, when a £100 million move for was on the table, but it seems as if that interest has now re-emerged. Given his dominant performances, interest in the Brazilian centre-back is hardly surprising.

Arsenal considering Marc Guehi as a potential replacement amid Gabriel exit rumours

Arsenal's defensive partnership between Gabriel and Saliba has been a key factor in their success, providing stability and dominance at the back. As a result, interest in their defenders continues to grow.

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Saliba, with scouts watching the Frenchman in action. However, it is almost certain that Arsenal will not allow both players to leave in the same window, let alone just one.

In the event that one of their defenders does depart, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi.

The 24-year-old, with his quality and composure, could be a suitable replacement for Gabriel, especially if the Brazilian moves on.

However, should Arsenal pursue him, they will face stiff competition for his signature. Liverpool are in the running to secure Guehi at a cut-price deal, with Tottenham, Newcastle, and even his former club Chelsea all having shown interest in the England international in the past.
