Gary Neville says Newcastle fans did something he's never seen before at Wembley after Dan Burn scored against Liverpool

Newcastle secured their first domestic trophy since 1955 with victory over Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday.
A thumping header by Dan Burn opened the scoring in the 45th minute, before Alexander Isak superbly slotted a second beyond the desperate grasp of Caoimhin Kelleher in the 52nd minute.
A 94th minute goal by Federico Chiesa did – however – have Newcastle fans biting their nails in the final stages.
After the opener flew in – a first goal for the Magpies at Wembley since 2000 – Gary Neville made a comment about the euphoric Newcastle supporters.
Gary Neville claims Newcastle fans caused Wembley to wobble
Speaking on commentary duty for Sky Sports alongside Peter Drury, the 50-year-old said: “The Newcastle fans have gone wild, I’ve never felt Wembley shake like this before.”
Upon seeing Burn – who was born in Blyth and a boyhood Newcastle supporter – find the net, you can understand why the black and white end of Wembley made such a noise after taking the lead. It was a moment written in the stars.
The likes of Alan Shearer, as well as Ant and Dec, could be seen celebrating in the raucous Wembley crowd, contributing to an atmosphere the likes of Neville – who doubted Newcastle would even score – have never witnessed before.
Liverpool visibly had no plan for Dan Burn
At several points – quite bizarrely – during the Carabao Cup final, Alexis Mac Allister could be seen marking Burn from corners.
The Argentina international stands at just 5ft 9in compared to the Newcastle defender’s towering 6ft 7in frame – making it a real mismatch in terms of height and physicality.

This even happened afterBurn – who Eddie Howe admires – scored, suggesting Arne Slot did little in the way of marking out a special plan to deal with the Newcastle colossus.
The Newcastle No.33 impressively won six of the seven aerial duels he was involved in against the Reds.
Of course, the Magpies were excellent in all aspects of the game – not just corners – although Liverpool were made to look especially nervous by Newcastle’s dominance in the air, which started their downfall.
