'Get rinsed': Ian Wright says Arsenal should overpay and sign 'incredibly talented' striker now

Arsenal need to freshen up their attack.
The Gunners are struggling in front of goal at the moment. They failed to score from open play in three consecutive games last month, while they couldn't finish their chances in either of their last two games against Manchester United or Newcastle.

Arsenal are interested in some new attacking options though.
Alexander Isak has been linked to Arsenal, while Nico Williams is Arsenal' top attacking target.
Speaking on the Wrighty's House Podcast, Ian Wright has been discussing what Arsenal should do in this key position and he's urged his former club to go for Omar Marmoush, despite the fact Marmoush is close to joining Manchester City.

Ian Wright wants Arsenal to sign Omar Marmoush
Wright spoke about Arsenal and which striker they should sign.
The pundit claimed that Marmoush is such a talent than Arsenal should overpay and make this deal happen.
Marmoush has been described as 'incredibly talented' in recent times.
"Marmoush, bro. He's gone already," Wright said.
"But the thing is, he is such a perfect, like, I mean, to be honest, buying anyone off Eintracht Frankfurt is a nightmare because they will rinse you for it, right?" The host said.
"Yes, but like, he’s somebody that you want to get rinsed. I’ll say, I’ll pay whatever, a couple of million over the top, whether it’s five or 10, for him. I would do that."
Omar Marmoush compared to other Arsenal targets
Arsenal do like Marmoush, but they think a deal isn't possible this month.
It looks like Marmoush will head to Man City instead, and Arsenal may well feel like they've missed out on a star here.
Indeed, Marmoush's numbers this season have been incredibly impressive, and he's been better than many of the players Arsenal have looked at.

Games | 16 | 18 | 16 | 12 |
Goals | 14 | 13 | 7 | 1 |
Assists | 7 | 4 | 2 | 0 |
Marmoush is even outperforming Alexander Isak this season, and that is no easy feat considering the level of form the Newcastle striker has shown in recent times.
While Arsenal may not be able to sign Marmoush, Wright's point stands, Arsenal need to bring in a new attacker to add an extra level of dynamism to this team and boost their title chances.
