Harry Kane has become part of an exclusive two-man group after his latest performance for Bayern Munich.
The England captain scored two goals in their 3-0 home win against Union Berlin on Saturday to keep Bayern top of the Bundesliga.
Kane’s first came from the penalty spot as he fired into the bottom left corner despite mind games from goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow.
He then assisted Kingsley Coman as Bayern doubled their lead before he scored from close-range in the second half to seal the win.
After nine games played, Kane leads the Bundesliga scoring charts with 11 goals and also has five assists to his name.
He is one of just two players across the top five leagues in European football to have scored at least ten goals and assisted five others.
Kane is joined by Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush, who also found the back of the net at the weekend in their 7-2 win over VfL Bochum.
The Egyptian forward, who has failed to score in just two matches, sits on ten goals and six assists for the season so far.
Marmoush is therefore level with Kane in the total goal contributions rankings with one less goal but one more assist.
Kane’s outing on Saturday has seen him extend his overall goal tally to 17 in all competitions in Bayern colours.
Of the 17, five have come in the Champions League and he netted another in the DFB-Pokal win over Mainz earlier in the week on top of his double figures Bundesliga total.
The 31-year-old therefore remains as one of the best strikers in world football and will hope this season finally brings him silverware.
Bayern are unbeaten at the top of the Bundesliga with 32 goals scored and only seven conceded, and have kept five clean sheets.
Only reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen and Frankfurt have been able to nick points off them in the German top flight.
Vincent Kompany’s side are in the driving seat in this season’s title race, with Kane continuing to dazzle in front of goal.
They are struggling in Europe, however, having lost two of their three Champions League matches this term.
