The match saw United claw their way back from 4-2 down in extra-time, with three dramatic goals in the final moments securing their place in the semi-finals.
Despite conceding four times, Maguire put in a commanding display and capped off the night with a message for a returning teammate after months on the sidelines, and as he continues to work his way back into the team.

Luke Shaw made his return to the United squad in a 12-minute cameo against Newcastle on 13 April, before featuring again more significantly at half-time in the dramatic Europa League win over Lyon.
After the match, Maguire shared a message of support for the defender, posting a picture of the pair celebrating together on his Instagram story with the caption: "Good to have you back mate."
Despite his return to action, Shaw continues to face criticism from sections of the fanbase. His ongoing injury issues have left many supporters questioning his long-term place at the club, with some Man United fans calling for Shaw’s contract to be terminated.
He's made just five appearances this season, and his persistent injury concerns led the club to sign Patrick Dorgu in the January transfer window as cover.
Former United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider back in December that Man United could consider moving Shaw on, despite his contract running until 2027.
