'Hate seeing that': Ian Wright says Liverpool have a player that he struggles to watch at the moment

Liverpool have been an utter joy to watch this season.
Arne Slot has picked up where Jurgen Klopp left off, bringing a high-octane, exciting style of play to Merseyside.
Mohamed Salah is a potential Ballon d'Or winner, while Ryan Gravenberch has been incredible this season.
However, it hasn't been a positive season for every player at Liverpool.
Indeed, Andy Robertson has been criticised for his performances this season, and speaking on Stick To Football, Jamie Carragher and Ian Wright have been discussing the full-back's recent struggles.
Carragher says that Robertson is finding it really hard at the moment, and Wright says that he actually hates watching Robertson at the minute.
Ian Wright not enjoying watching Andy Robertson
Wright and Carragher spoke about Robertson's struggles this season.
The two pundits admitted that Robertson is out of form right now, claiming that the defender is finding things very difficult at the moment.
"Andy Robertson's finding it tough at the moment, he’s finding it really tough," Carragher said.
"I hate seeing that, because you know when you love a player, I hate seeing him finding it tough," Wright said.
"But listen, we’ve all been there as players, but he’s going through that right now," Carragher added.
Andy Robertson stats this season
Wright and Carragher say that Robertson is struggling, and they're not wrong.
The Scot seems to have lost his mojo this term.
Once upon a time, Robertson was one of the best creators in the Premier League, but this season, he's been way off those standards.
His defensive numbers aren't necessarily that bad, but Robertson isn't contributing anywhere near as much as he used to in an attacking sense.
Andy Robertson this season | Andy Robertson’s best season | |
Games | 19 | 36 |
Goals | 0 | 2 |
Assists | 0 | 12 |
Crosses per game | 1.3 | 1.1 |
Tackles per game | 1.4 | 1.2 |

As Carragher says, these dips in form can happen, and at the age of just 30, it may not be time to completely write Robertson off just yet.
Mohamed Salah was criticised towards the end of last season for a similar dip in form, and he's come back better than ever this term.
Robertson does need to improve, and he does need to get his head straight, but there's still some hope that the left-back can improve and rediscover his best form.
