Czech Republic manager Ivan Hasek has insisted there is no bad blood with Rangers winger Vaclav Cerny, who immediately apologised for a negative reaction to being substituted.

Idnes cover comments from the Czech boss following the 4-0 win over Gibraltar, which extended an unbeaten run for his side to seven games and made it three wins on the bounce in all competitions.

Rangers star Cerny was the undeniable man of the match of the comfortable win over Gibraltar, bagging a goal and an assist in the 4-0 victory.

He didn't see the end of the game, though, as he was pulled off in the 79th minute by Hasek as he instead handed him a rest at the end of the game.

That didn't go down well with the Rangers man, who reacted somewhat negatively to the decision and clearly didn't agree with it.

That reaction from the winger didn't go unnoticed and raised some questions about his attitude and perhaps relationship with Hasek.

The Czech boss has insisted there is no problem, though, and Cerny apologised immediately after the incident.

"He was sour, but he apologised to me two minutes later," he said.

"That’s just Venda, an emotional player who doesn’t want to miss a minute on the pitch. He reacted similarly recently at Rangers when they played the Europa League with Fenerbahce. That’s how he’s set up and I’m not angry."
