Leandro Trossard calls Ethan Nwaneri an “amazing player”

Mikel Arteta sang Nwaneri’s praises as well by claiming that he would be getting a chance to play even if the Gunners had signed another player in his position.

The 17-year-old is a special talent and the crown jewel of Arsenal’s famed academy.

Trossard tipped Nwaneri for a bright future while breaking down what makes him a top-class young prospect.

The 30-year-old said via HaytersTV: “He’s an amazing player, you can tell already in training sessions, how confident he is as well, beating his man one-v-one, has such a good shot as well, scoring goals.”

“So, yeah, he has a bright future ahead of him and I think he can help us a lot.”

Nwaneri has been compared to Martin Odegaard as there seems to be an unwavering belief in him going right to the top one day.

While Joleon Lescott heaped praise on Nwaneri as well as there is no denying that he is one of England’s hottest young prospects.

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard love Ethan Nwaneri

So much so that Bukayo Saka has backed Nwaneri to succeed when the Arsenal superstar was asked whether he views himself as a mentor to his fellow Hale End academy graduate.

"Yeah 100%. I feel I have to make myself available for him if he needs to speak to me. I try to do that of course. Ethan is a really top talent and I believe in him and I think he's going to go to the top.”

Odegaard hailed Nwaneri as well, initially saying: “I've been trying to help him in many different ways

"For a young player sometimes it's best to help him be himself and don't be too much on him. For him it's about showing his talent and keep on going.”

The Norwegian went on to describe his Arsenal teammate as an “unbelievable player.”

"For his age to play with such confidence and eagerness I'm really proud of him. He will just get better and better."

I don't want to put too much pressure on him but he's an unbelievable player. I don't see him as a talent – I see him as a really good player.”

Nwaneri plays with a sense of confidence, which must stem from his own tremendous self-belief while also feeling like he is on top of the world by being praised by the senior players at London Colney.

Now that the creative midfielder is finally fit again, he will be targeting Arsenal’s next run of fixtures as he looks to reclaim his place in Mikel Arteta’s starting line-up again.
