Arsenal came into the 2024/25 season on a mission to win the Premier League at long last, and so far, things have been good for the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta’s side remain unbeaten in all competitions with Arsenal mere seconds away from their first win away at the Etihad Stadium last month against Manchester City, with the north London side sat third in the Premier League standings.

With Shay Given suggesting that Bukayo Saka could hit Lionel Messi levels of world-class, Arsenal’s key players are once again showing why they’re some of the best on the planet despite their young ages under Arteta.

And club legend David Seaman believes one such player is now playing with confidence again.

Arsenal’s Kai Havertz now ‘a nuisance’ for rival players

Speaking on Seaman Says, the former England international hailed Kai Havertz for his impressive start this season with Arsenal, with the Germany star already on six goals and an assist in all competitions for the Gunners.

With Richard Keys now saying Havertz is an ‘undroppable’ player for Arsenal, the former Chelsea man is showing this season why the north London side took the gamble last year to sign the 25-year-old attacker, who has been exceptional in 2024.

And for Seaman, Havertz is starting to become a real pain in the backside for Arsenal’s opponents, with the versatile attacking midfielder becoming the Gunners’ main man from the front this season.

Seamn said: "He has confidence now. He is doing a lot of finishes. Aerially, he's a nuisance. He gets in there, he's beating goalkeepers to the ball. You look at the Champions League game, went up with Donnarumma, beat him."

Havertz is finally realising his potential at last at Arsenal

Havertz joined Chelsea in 2021 with a reputation that suggested that the former Bayer Leverkusen star could become one of the best players on the planet if his development continued in the right direction at England.

And although Havertz enjoyed some incredible high points with the Blues, the form was never quite there with the attacking midfielder leaving Arsenal for a reason last summer, yet the move has proven to be the right one.

Havertz is realising his potential in a big way at Arsenal, with the 25-year-old looking unstoppable in the attack under Arteta, with the sky the limit for the former Chelsea man in his new north London home.
