Dominic Solanke has been picking his dream five-a-side team made up of England players past and present.

The Three Lions have been blessed with some incredibly talented footballers over the years from Bobby Moore all the way to Harry Kane.

Solanke's dream team was made up of five absolute superstars, and he made room for one current Liverpool player in his side.

Indeed, Solanke picked a defence made up of both Rio Ferdinand and Trent Alexander-Arnold, claiming that the right-back's ability on the ball is too good.

Dominic Solanke praises Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold

Solanke picked Alexander-Arnold in the defence of his dream five-a-side team.

The Spurs star chose Alexander-Arnold due to his incredible ability on the ball.

It’s easy to see why Solanke rates Alexander-Arnold so highly. After all, he is a Champions League winner and he holds the record for the most assists from a defender in Premier League history at the age of just 25.

"How many defenders? I'm going to go attacking. I'll put Rio in there he was solid back there. And I'll put Trent in there, on the ball, yeah, on the ball he's too good," Solanke told England’s YouTube channel.

Alexander-Arnold needs to play for England

It's incredible that Solanke has picked Alexander-Arnold in his all-time England five-a-side team and he's not even a regular starter for the Three Lions.

Indeed, there's an argument to make that Alexander-Arnold, technically, is one of the best players England have ever had, and yet, he only has 31 caps to his name.

The Liverpool star was largely misused by Gareth Southgate, but Alexander-Arnold was incredible during Lee Carsley's first two games, so things may be looking up on the international front.

Alexander-Arnold is a player with incredible ability, Paul Merson reckons he's the best passer in the Premier League.

If England can fully unlock that potential alongside the likes of Phil Foden, Harry Kane and Cole Palmer, it may not be long before the Three Lions manage to finally win a major tournament.
