Antonin Kinsky certainly didn't have to wait long to make his Tottenham Hotspur debut – Ange Postecoglou immediately deployed the youngster against Liverpool in their Carabao Cup semi-final.
Brandon Austin was on the bench and Tottenham put full faith in their new 21-year-old signing, who immediately impressed in N17.
Soon after Kinsky received the ball at his feet, Spurs fans seemed to settle at the London Stadium – there was a sudden feeling of confidence in north London.
Over the past month or so, Tottenham supporters have watched Fraser Forster relentlessly struggle with the ball at his feet, but Kinsky arguably looked better than some centre-backs on the ball.
In addition, the Czech Republic keeper was also very effective with his shot-stopping, an all round triumph.
Dominic Solanke praises Antonin Kinsky for ‘phenomenal’ Tottenham debut

Solanke said: "He was phenomenal. Honestly. He came three days ago and one or two training sessions with us.
"To look that comfortable out there and confident. I can't give him enough credit. He looked like a natural out there, like he had been training with us for years, especially at his age as well.
"To come in and have the impact that he did so soon it's a big credit to him.
"To have him at the club now is great for us, we have a lot of big games coming up and a long way to go in the season. So hopefully we can achieve something special."
Kinsky himself then couldn't resist returning some praise for his new teammate saying: "I have to give the credit to him. I haven't played with a better striker!"
Antonin Kinsky explains his celebrations at full-time
In addition, Kinsky also then explained his actions at full-time, when he immediately went over to share a big hug with someone in the crowd.
The keeper explained that his family had come to watch his Tottenham debut, a proud moment for all associated with the 21-year-old.
Kinsky said: "It was my sister (that he hugged), because yesterday I got to know that there is a possibility of me being in the goal today so I called them immediately.
"My sister came, her boyfriend and my parents. I was so happy to have them here on such a special night."
The young keeper will definitely face some tough challenges to come, but on initial evidence, he looks well-equipped to succeed in N17.
Tottenham fans loved Kinsky’s debut, and rightly so, a young talent with so much promise.
