Hudson-Odoi delivers 'tough' message to Nottingham Forest fans after Liverpool

Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has admitted they were facing a “top side” after drawing against Liverpool 1-1.
The 24-year-old played 83 minutes against fellow title-challengers Liverpool (14 January) before being substituted for Jota Silva as his side played out an entertaining draw.
New Zealand striker, Chris Wood, opened the scoring for the Garibaldis with a classically-composed finish from the 33-year-old after just eight minutes.
Having survived Liverpool’s onslaught for almost an hour, Forest finally conceded as substitutes Konstantinos Tsimikas and Diogo Jota combined for the Red’s equaliser.
Despite having to play for large portions of the game with 10 men behind the ball, the Tricky Trees held on to claim a memorable point, one that may be impactful in their surprise title-challenge.

Hudson-Odoi was regarded as one of the top prospects in the country during his time in the Chelsea academy, but injuries and limited first-team minutes seemed to have stunted his development.
However, after leaving the Blues to sign for the East Midlands side, the tricky winger has blossomed into a very dangerous player.
The faith that Nuno Espirito Santo has shown in him has clearly given Hudson-Odoi the confidence that he needed.
He has registered two goals and two assists so far this season, but his ability to pin back an opposing full-back and link-up with Chris Wood has been a joy to watch.
The former Bayer Leverkusen loanee took to Instagram with a message to the fans, saying “Tough Tough Match Against A Top Side! We Move On To Sunday!! COYR.”
The Garibaldis will need all the help they can get as they look to continue their audacious attempts to win a first Premier League title, and news that fullback Ola Aina is edging closer to signing a contract extension will be greeted positively by the fans.
Forest may also look to dip their toes into the transfer market in January to strengthen their side, and they have been linked with a move for Scottish-sensation Ally Graham, Peter O’Rourke exclusively told Football Insider.
In other news, Keith Hackett has given his verdict on an incident that happened in the match between Forest and Liverpool.
