Tottenham Hotspur suffered a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Ange Postecoglou’s side dominated possession for large portions of the North London derby but failed to really create anything of note.

Gabriel and William Saliba produced a rock solid display at the heart of Arsenal’s defence and the former ended up being the match-winner – heading home a Bukayo Saka corner.

Following the clash, Martin Keown was asked how many Tottenham players get into Arsenal’s starting XI…

Martin Keown suggests only Micky van de Ven would get into Arsenal’s starting XI

Speaking on talkSPORT, Keown appeared to suggest only Micky van de Ven would get into Mikel Arteta’s 11.

“Not many at the moment,” the former Arsenal defender said.

“I do like Van de Ven. I like their fullbacks moving into midfield, but I don't like the balance of it. I think one should go in there rather than two.

“I don't like this really high line which is hell bent on being exposed.

“If I was working with the manager I would say there is an adjustment we need here. You need some balance, some strong views and ideas, but be smart, be intelligent, because it's not quite working is it?”

Ange Postecoglou had to address Tottenham’s goalscoring woes

For all of Tottenham’s dominance in their opening four games this season, they’ve lacked a cutting edge up top.

Postecoglou needs to address this problem, perhaps by changing the personnel, so Mikey Moore should be given his opprunitnity.

Moore was superb in pre-season and could help to knit together the forward line.
