Sam Parkin has revealed that he likes the balance of the Watford front three consisting of Giorgi Chakvetadze, Kwadwo Baah and Vakoun Bayo in the forward department.

Watford signed Bayo on loan from Udinese to strengthen their forward department and the striker has struck up a partnership with Baah and Chakvetadze in the starting line-up.

On Friday, Watford drew 2-2 with Plymouth Argyle away from home, where the Hornets trio put in an impressive performance, with Bayo securing a goal.

Parkin pointed out that Baah's pace and Chakvetadze’s craft gave Argyle a hard time and added that he likes the balance the Watford trio provide to the team.

He thinks that Bayo's use of his body and link-up play has been brilliant and added that the centre forward has been an excellent all-round performer for the Hornets.

"I like that balance of the front three", Parkin said on the Championship Check-In show.

"Chakvetadze obviously goes a little bit deeper when they haven’t got the ball.

"But his craft and Baah’s pace, I thought that was a big problem for Argyle when he got turned up against Gibson and Bayo I mean, take away the goalscoring at the moment and obviously the missed chances, I think his all-round game is very good.

"He uses his body brilliantly, links it fantastically, so that trio I thought they were very good.”

Watford are currently seventh in the Championship table with 26 points from 16 games and they are set to face Bristol City on Tuesday at home.
