
'I love everything about him': Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker say Arsenal have a top talent with a 'big future' ahead of him

Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly has has an incredible rise to prominence over the past seven months or so.
The 18-year-old began the season as one of the next Arsenal academy talents tipped for a bright future.
Now, Lewis-Skelly is not only a regular starter for Arsenal’s first-team, but also an England international with a goal to his name.
New England manager Thomas Tuchel named Lewis-Skelly in the starting XI for their World Cup qualifier against Albania.
The Arsenal gem repaid his coach’s faith with the game’s opening goal on 20 minutes, racing onto Jude Bellingham’s through-ball and slotting home.
Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer, speaking on The Rest is Football, explained why they feel Lewis-Skelly has such a “big future” in the game.

Both Lineker and Shearer spoke highly of Lewis-Skelly’s character and attitude, saying that’s exactly what a player needs to succeed at the top level.
Indeed, Lineker stressed it’s “really, really important” for a player to believe in himself at the highest levels of the game.
“Alan, we must talk about Myles Lewis-Skelly because, I mean, 18 years old, he’s got a big future,” began Lineker.
Shearer agreed, describing Lewis-Skelly’s future as “massive” and “huge” as Lineker continued: “I mean, he knows how good he is.
“It’s the kind of attitude I think you need at this level, you’ve got to believe in yourself, it’s really, really important.
“And to score a goal, the youngest debutant ever I think for England to score…”
Shearer continued: “What a career he’s got ahead of him. I love his attitude.
“He’s got a bit of arrogance about him, he’s got a strut about him, he’s got the look about him where he feels as if he’s, I don’t know, he’s already made it at the top level.
“I love the attitude and I love everything about him that he’s bringing to to his early part of his career and he’s only going to get better.
“He’s classy, he’s tough, he’s hard, he’s got a nasty side to him and I love that, I love someone who’s got the arrogance about him.
“Just the way he just the way he handles himself and the way he is, and his attitude and everything, I love everything about him already.”
What Thomas Tuchel said about Myles Lewis-Skelly debut
Tuchel praised Lewis-Skelly's confidence, humour and openness around the England camp when speaking to the press after the game.
"He was amazing in camp," said Tuchel. "Full of confidence, full of humour. Such an open character.
"You see everything on the pitch, off the pitch. He does it with a natural confidence.
"That's how he plays football. Full of courage and quality. He was decisive and opened this game for us."
Tuchel was not the only one to praise Lewis-Skelly. Rio Ferdinand was buzzing after Lewis-Skelly scored, while the English press also raved about Lewis-Skelly.
