Arsenal are in a fantastic position at the moment under Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners are ready to push for a Premier League title once again, and they have one of the most talented squads in Europe at the moment.

However, when you have a squad this talented, it's never long before the vultures start circling.

Antonio Rudiger recently stated that he'd love to see William Saliba sign for Real Madrid, and Los Blancos have been credited with an interest in the Frenchman.

When Real Madrid come calling, it's difficult to say no, but according to Steve Kay, speaking on KS1TV, Saliba is very happy at Arsenal.

How William Saliba feels at Arsenal

According to Kay, Saliba is very happy at Arsenal.

The Frenchman apparently only has plans for a future at the Emirates and he's said to be keen to win the biggest trophies with the north London club.

Indeed, Saliba is apparently keen to win both the Premier League and the Champions League with Arsenal.

"If there's a club you're going to be worried about losing him to, it's probably them (Real Madrid) isn't it?" Kay said.

"He's not going for any less than £150m, so you better have a lot of money Real Madrid. But from what I'm hearing he's happy, he wants to win titles with Arsenal, he wants to win Champions Leagues with Arsenal, look, if you have Real Madrid knocking on the door for your players, you're obviously in a good place.

How do Arsenal feel about William Saliba's future

Saliba may be happy at Arsenal, but you wouldn't blame the Gunners one bit for sweating over their star man's future.

However, Arsenal are apparently unbothered by Madrid's interest.

Indeed, it has been reported that Arsenal are incredibly calm about this situation, and that bodes well for Saliba's future.

Fabrizio Romano has also stated that there has been no approach for Saliba at this point.

"I'm not aware of anything concrete at this stage – all I know is that Saliba is fully focused on Arsenal, while Arsenal obviously also consider Saliba as a key part of their project, nothing else," he said.

By the sounds of it, Madrid aren't currently looking to sign Saliba, but, as anyone in football will tell you, things can change very quickly in the transfer window, particularly when a team like Real Madrid are involved.

This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on.
