"I'm not used to that" – Rangers player talks about rotation frustrations under Philippe Clement

Rangers manager Philippe Clement has rotated his squad between different competitions this season, which has taken some getting used to for certain players.
Robin Pröpper spent three years at FC Twente before arriving at Rangers in the summer window.
The centre-back has been speaking to Dutch outlet Voetbal Primeur, discussing his new life at Rangers so far.
Pröpper has clocked in 1,154 minutes from 15 games in all competitions this season and that includes eight league starts and three more in the Europa League.
He was dropped for the two league games before the international break and returned to Rangers’s starting line-up for the 1-1 draw against Dundee United at the weekend.
Despite starting the majority of Rangers’ fixtures this season, the Dutchman has made it clear it’s a new situation to him.
“I enjoy it here, but I certainly don’t play everything in the competition. There is room for improvement. The trainer keeps changing, he looks at the opponent. We are not used to that in the Netherlands, and as a player you want to play as much as possible,” he said.
The move to Rangers saw the 31-year-old leave his country for the first time in his career, and he has to now get used to the needs of the Scottish football. The defender has also explained the changes he needs to make in his game.
“Despite my age, I have to get used to Scottish football. In the Eredivisie a lot of focus is on tactical and footballing ability. Everyone wants to build up,” Pröpper explained.
“Here the focus is more on results, you play against opponents who give a long ball from the goalkeeper. A lot [of] Scottish teams want to get forward as quickly as possible, lay long balls over the defence, quickly towards the enemy goal.
“You can also hear from it in the fans, they want the ball forward, while in the Netherlands people might prefer to push the ball wide. Just slow down. Sometimes there’s no patience for that.”
Rangers will take on OGC Nice in the Europa League on Thursday and Pröpper is likely to be involved in this tie.
