The last thing Arsenal need right now is another injury problem.
The north London club are suffering at the moment as a number of their key players struggle for fitness.
Martin Odegaard has been out of action for a while, while Riccardo Calafiori is sidelined at the moment.
Arsenal are back in training ahead of their key Champions League clash on Wednesday against Inter Milan, but there was one notable absentee in the session as Declan Rice didn't take part in training.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Dharmesh Sheth has provided an update on Rice from the session, and he says that he's been told there's nothing to worry about on this front as Rice may just be doing an individual training regime.
What's been said about Declan Rice missing Arsenal training
Sheth shared an update on Rice from the pre-Champions League session.
According to the journalist, Rice was missing from training, but there isn't anything to be too worried about on this front.
“Another player not out there at the moment is Declan Rice. We're just trying to get some information from Arsenal, but I'm told it's nothing to worry about — he might just be doing his own individual training."
Arsenal injuries this season
Arsenal have had nothing but bad luck on the injury front this season.
Indeed, it feels like at one point or another, Arsenal have had almost all of their key players out.
Arsenal injuries this season | Injury | Games missed |
Takehiro Tomiyasu* | Knee injury | 14 |
Kieran Tierney* | Hamstring injury | 15 |
Martin Odegaard* | Ankle injury | 12 |
Riccardo Calafiori* | Calf/Knee injuries | 4 |
Mikel Merino | Shoulder injury | 6 |
Jurrien Timber | Muscle injury | 4 |
Bukayo Saka | Leg injury | 2 |
Ben White | Knee injury | 4 |
Oleksandr Zinchenko | Calf injury | 7 |
Arsenal are yet to have a fully fit and available squad this season, and that has cost them in terms of results.
Arsenal are on a three game winless run, and while Gary Neville still believes Arsenal can win the league, their chances of winning the title have dwindled in recent times.
Fingers crossed Rice isn't suffering with any sort of serious injury problem because Arsenal really can't afford to lose any of their key players ahead of a crucial clash against Chelsea this weekend.
