Liverpool may have been handed a boost in their attempts to land a player who shined at Euro 2024 this summer.

Arne Slot is yet to bolster his squad after taking over from Jurgen Klopp but the Reds continue to be linked with moves for a host of stars.

Klopp left behind an incredibly talented side but the Dutchman will surely be keen for Liverpool to address a couple of key areas.

One potential problem for Slot could be the wide forward areas, with Luis Diaz reportedly keen to secure a dream move to Barcelona.

The Colombian's departure would leave Slot needing another option out wide while Mohamed Salah's long-term future at Anfield is also far from certain.

Among their most high-profile forward targets is Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with the Georgian winger's agent recently claiming he wants a move this summer.

Liverpool have been long linked with a move for the talented winger and it was claimed just last month that Slot's men have enquired about signing him.

Now, a FIFA agent has tipped Kvaratskhelia to secure a move to England or France.

Agent convinced Liverpool target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will leave Napoli

Juventus forward Federico Chiesa has emerged as a target for new Napoli boss Antonio Conte.

FIFA agent, Serxhio Mezi, has been discussing Kvaratskhelia's future and feels Chiesa could replace the Napoli star.

“The only team in Italy that wants Federico Chiesa is Conte’s Napoli," Mezi said. "The exterior is part of a request list drawn up by the technician. To tell the truth, I see him very well in the Napoli of the former Juve and Inter man.”

He added: “He had a very good European Championship (Kvara) and I see him away from Napoli, in France or England. For this reason, we could say that Chiesa is his replacement, starting next season," as quoted by Tutto Juve.

With interest in Kvaratskhelia growing, it's been claimed that the Napoli star has already rejected the chance to join Ligue 1 giants PSG.

The £100 million-rated forward is said to favour a move to England but whether or not he gets his wish is unclear.

Fabrizio Romano has already stated that the Naples club have no intention of selling their star man this summer, particularly with Victor Osimhen likely to leave.

Conte is particularly keen to keep hold of Kvaratskhelia and Napoli are set to offer the winger a new contract.
