'I would buy': Rio Ferdinand says he'd sign £50m player if he was in charge at Arsenal now

Arsenal's need for a new striker is there for all to see.
Mikel Arteta's side have now failed to score from open play in each of their last three games, and their lack of goalscoring talent is affecting their title tilt.
Arsenal have been linked with a number of new strikers as of late.
Arsenal thought they were signing Benjamin Sesko at one point, while Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Alexander Isak.
Speaking on his podcast, Rio Ferdinand has been discussing what Arsenal should do in regards to their striking options, and he says that he would buy Victor Osimhen if he was in charge of the Gunners' recruitment.

Arsenal should sign Victor Osimhen
Ferdinand spoke about Arsenal's striking issues.
The pundit says that he thinks Arsenal should sign Osimhen, but regardless of who they go after, they need to get a striker who can come in and impact games.
"Now, you ain’t having a number nine that’s coming on impacting games. But I don’t even think you’ve got to buy an Osimhen, although I would buy Osimhen. But I’m saying like, you haven’t even got to buy the best out there who’s available. You’ve got to buy someone who can come in and impact games," Ferdinand said.

Ferdinand recommends Osimhen as a signing for Arsenal, and that isn't a bad suggestion at all.
Osimhen was linked with Arsenal in the summer, and while a deal didn't work out, the Nigerianl will soon be on the market again.
Indeed, Osimhen's loan move to Turkey isn't a permanent solution to his problems at Napoli, it was a desperate measure taken after the closure of the transfer window.
However, Osimhen has been showing his ability in Turkey, and that's reflected in his stats.

Emmanuel Petit wants Arsenal to sign Osimhen too, and the £50m man could be just what the doctor ordered at the Emirates.
As things stand, Arsenal don't plan on doing any big business in January, but perhaps that stance should change if the opportunity to sign Osimhen crops up.
