Tottenham Hotspur star Dejan Kulusevski has been going from strength to strength under Ange Postecoglou at N17.

Prior to this season, the Spurs midfielder had enjoyed a relatively decent career at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but the jury was still out on him.

However, since Postecoglou moved Kulusevski into central midfield, he has become one of the Premier League’s most in-form players.

The 24-year-old has been running the show for Tottenham, delivering masterclass after masterclass.

Kulusevski shone once again as Spurs ran out 4-1 winners over West Ham United in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off.

Tim Sherwood loved what he saw from the Swede – who scored in the rout – and sung his praises on Premier League Productions.

The former Tottenham boss said he “wouldn’t want to go up against” Kulusevski and believes he is “one of the very few top signings” made by Spurs.

"He (Postecoglou) has transformed him into a central midfield player,” he said.

“I always look at midfield players as if I would go up against them. I wouldn't want to go up against this guy.

“He is 6ft 2in, he is quick, he is strong, he travels with the ball, he has got an eye for a pass, and obviously he has got an eye for a goal.

“He scored eight goals in the Premier League last year, that's his second goal. He scores big goals. He scored in the derby today. He scored at Old Trafford.

“If he can continue with that ratio, he is a player. He is one of the very few top signings they have made."

How the media rated Kulusevski’s display v West Ham

Football.london gave Kulusevski a 9 out of 10 rating and wrote: “Excellent in the opening exchanges and managed to get his name on the scoresheet prior to the break with a low effort that went in off both posts.

“Very much up for it and the confidence in his game is there for all to see at present. Key to Tottenham’s third goal as well after some great play with Son.”

Meanwhile, the Evening Standard gave him an 8 out of 10 and wrote: “Tottenham's best player of the afternoon.

“Wriggled out of tight spaces nicely and deserved the goal which he scored shortly before the break to level things up.”
