Gary Neville thinks Leicester are better-placed than Ipswich and Southampton to avoid relegation
Neville and Jamie Carragher provided updates on their pre-season predictions, with both backing Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich to go back down.
Neville was asked which of the newly-promoted sides he thinks has the best chance of escaping the drop.
“Between Ipswich and Leicester obviously,” Neville began. “I’m just trying to think…
“Massive win for Ipswich against Chelsea tonight (Monday night) and something like that started to happen and the atmosphere down there that could become quite special.
“I was at Leicester yesterday (Sunday), I actually thought they played quite well against Manchester City and had moments in the game, so I’d like them both to stay up, but they obviously won’t.
“I’ll go Leicester, just a bit more sort of experience of the league… I’ll go Leicester if there’s one team going to get out of it.”
