Colchester United boss Danny Cowley is of the view that a club of Bradford City's stature should not be in League Two and believes that the Bantams will be in and around the automatic promotion spots.
Graham Alexander's Bradford are ninth in the League Two table and they are winless in their last three league games.
This weekend the Bantams are set to travel to Essex to take on Cowley’s Colchester United and will be keen on getting back to winning ways.
Cowley is of the view that Bradford are too big a club to be playing in the League Two and added that Alexander's side recruited players with promotion experience this summer.
He thinks that with the quality of squad Bradford have, they will be in and around the automatic promotion places this season.
"We have a lot of respect for Bradford City; they are a huge football club", Cowley told Colchester United's in-house media.
"A huge football club for League Two, for sure, probably should not be in this division if truth be known.
"They have a very experienced manager, I think some of the best players in the division.
"They recruited aggressively this summer, took some players that had lots of promotions from this level in previous years and really added to what was already a very strong squad.
"I anticipate them being right there and thereabouts; they will be in and around the automatic promotion places and that will certainly be their ambition.
"When I look at the quality of their squad, I think that is their capability, so we understand how tough the game will be and we see what the challenge is, but it is one that we are looking forward to and one we are going to do our best to rise to."
Bradford have not lost any of their last three meetings with Colchester and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to extend that run on Saturday.
